Drake has fired another salvo in his feud with Meek Mill after that rapper called Drake's "Charged Up" diss track "baby lotion soft." Three days later, Drake has responded again with "Back to Back Freestyle," and there's nothing soft or vague about this diss track as the Toronto rapper lays into Meek Mill.

The cruelest barbs in "Back to Back Freestyle" come when Drake attempts to emasculate Meek Mill for serving as opening act for his girlfriend Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint Tour. "You love her then you gotta give the world to her / Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?/ I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more," Drake says. Drake then takes aim at Meek Mill's decision to beef through social media. "Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers," Drake raps. "You're getting bodied by a singing nigga." Drake then warns all his "boss bitches" – but likely Minaj especially – "make sure you hit him with a pre-nup."

The feud between Drake and Meek Mill stems from Mill's accusations that Drake employed a ghostwriter for his guest verse on "R.I.C.O.," a track off Meek Mill's new album Dreams Worth More Than Money. An Atlanta rapper named Quentin Miller was then identified as Drake's ghostwriter, though Miller and Drake's producer Noah "40" Shebib denied the ghostwriting allegations.

"When I look back, I might be mad that I gave this attention / But it's weighing heavy on my conscience / And fuck, you left me with no options," Drake says on the new track. "I'm not sure what it was that made y'all mad / But I guess this is what I gotta do to make y'all rap."

Yakub Memon, Convicted for 1993 Blasts in Mumbai, Hanged in Nagpur

 Yakub Memon, convicted as "a driving spirit" for the 1993 blasts in Mumbai, was hanged a little before 7 am at Nagpur Central Prison. At 5 am, the Supreme Court had rejected his last-minute petition to stop his hanging after an unprecedented middle-of-the-night hearing.
Here are the 10 latest developments:

1.     Memon's body was handed over to his family in Nagpur from where it was flown to Mumbai.
2.     President Pranab Mukherjee rejected Yakub Memon's mercy petition sent to him on Wednesday.
3.     Activists and Memon's lawyers told the Supreme Court in a late-night appeal that after a mercy plea is rejected, the death row prisoner can't be hanged for 14 days, according to rules.
4.     However, the three Supreme Court judges who heard the case accepted the government's argument that Memon had "ample opportunity" to challenge his sentencing.
5.     The court accepted the government's argument that a mercy plea filed on Memon's behalf by his brother, which was rejected by the President last year, could not be overlooked.
6.     The Supreme Court on Wednesday had refused to stop Memon's hanging, rejecting his claim that the top court had not followed correct processes in upholding his death sentence earlier this week.
7.     The same three judges who ruled against him during the day heard the emergency petition in the middle of the night.
8.     Memon was convicted for helping finance the serial blasts in Mumbai in 1993 in which 257 people were killed. His brother, Tiger, and Dawood Ibrahim, who masterminded the blasts, remain missing. (Memon Case: From Conviction to Hanging)

Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) is finally launched

The Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) is finally official, putting an end to the endless rumor marathon. We already knew what to expect, but a very important detail eluded us, but it is now set in stone.

So fret not, the Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) does have 2GB of RAM, only not all versions of the smartphone. There are two options you can choose from and the 2GB of RAM come coupled with 16GB of storage, while a more modestly equipped 1GB/8GB variant is also available. A microSD slot allows expansion by up to 32GB in either model.


A 5-inch 720p display adorns the front of the smartphone, and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Snapdragon 410 provides computing power with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 306 GPU inside. You get LTE support, as well as the obligatory Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone boots the latest Android 5.1.1 too, so no surprises here either.

The primary camera is a 13MP unit, aided by a dual-LED dual-tone flash. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter.

The Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) measures 142.1 x 72.4 x 11.6mm, though the thickness does go down to 6.1mm towards the edges. It weighs 155g, and Motorola have upped battery capacity to 2,470mAh, compared to the 2,070mAh of the predecessor.

Perhaps what’s most important in terms of hardware, is the IPx7 certification, which makes the handset capable of surviving after being submerged in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.


The Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) is available starting today, though obviously not every retailer has been quick enough to react. So far we have a UK price of £160 for the 1GB/8GB version, and in India the lower-specced model retails for INR 11,999 (~$187), while the 16GB version is INR 12,999 (~$203).

Jail the Bachelorette

Bachelorette lovebirds Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth were guests Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, shortly after their romance went public in the ABC dating show's finale. And they vowed not to end up like so many other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples – even wagering money that they'll be married, or at least still together, a year from now.

"Twice a year for like 13 years now, we've seen people get together. They come on the show and they seem to be very much in love … And then the next thing we know, we see them on the cover of a magazine with a tear down the center," Kimmel said.

He added: "Quite frankly, my heart can't take it anymore."

So, he had them repeat some comical vows in which they promised to stay together for at least a year – and if they don't, they have to pay him $1,000 (either as a lump sum or, he joked, in monthly installments of $2.77 for 30 years).

Bristowe, 30, and Booth, 29, who grace the cover of this week's PEOPLE, seem as likely to succeed as any. "I didn't think I could be this happy," Bristowe tells PEOPLE exclusively. Adds Booth: "She just makes me feel different, something that I've never felt before. It's what I've been looking for."

Public Tribute to Former President APJ Abdul Kalam At His Residence in Delhi

 Former President APJ Abdul Kalam's body was brought to Delhi from Guwahati at about 12:15 pm. The three service chiefs were present at the airport to receive the body; Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive at the airport shortly.
    Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's body will be taken from the airport to his residence at 10 Rajaji Marg, where people can pay homage to the People's President for two hours.
    Last rites for Dr Kalam will be performed in his home town Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. The former President's body will be flown to Rameswaram early this evening.
    Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned today after paying tribute to Dr Kalam. The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till July 30. The Union Cabinet will hold a special meeting in New Delhi today to condole Dr Kalam's death.
    Dr Kalam, 83, died on Monday in Shillong, Meghalaya, after a massive cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management last evening.
    The government has declared a seven-day national mourning as a mark of respect for Dr Kalam, a renowned missile scientist, who played a stellar role in advancing India's nuclear programme.
    As the nation mourned his death, PM Modi said in his tribute, "My mind is filled with so many memories, so many interactions with him. Always marvelled at his intellect, learnt so much from him."
    The casket carrying Dr Kalam's body was wrapped in the Tricolour and hymns played as it was carried to the aircraft in Guwahati.
    Known as the Missile Man of India, Dr Kalam played a pivotal role in the Pokhran-II nuclear test in 1998.
    He was awarded the Padma Bhushan and Bharat Ratna for his achievements.
    Loved dearly by the young, he was nominated for the MTV Youth Icon of the Year award in 2003 and 2006, when he was in his 70s.

Thief accidentally takes selfie while stealing iPhone

A fancy for beautiful gadgets may sometimes prove to be a costly affair in more ways than one — as a burglar realised in Los Angeles. The man allegedly broke in through an unlocked door and then accidentally recorded a video of himself after opening an app on an iPhone that was in the home
The incident
The burglar entered a residence on Paloma Avenue in the Venice area of Los Angeles through an unlocked door, at around 7 am on July 11. While inside the living room of the residence, the thief grabbed an iPhone lying on a table and accidentally activated a video application, from which he then made a brief selfie video. The suspect, described as a black male, took the iPhone and fled the scene. A woman and two teenage girls were inside the home at the time of the burglary.

The Los Angeles Police Department got a lot of help from this robber, even though he didn’t mean to do any such thing.  The phone owner later accessed the selfie video remotely and contacted the police, who then circulated the images. Police released the selfie image in hope of identifying the burglar. In the selfie, the suspect is seen wearing a dark hat. The police have sought the public’s help in identifying him.

How to watch the Special Olympics World Games 2015

Today's Google Doodle marks the start of the 14th Special Olympics World Summer Games, which have kicked off today and will run until August 2.

The animated athletes in the Doodle are shown kicking balls, lifting weights and swimming as they take part in the games.

The 2015 games will take place in Los Angeles, and will see 7,000 athletes travelling from more 170 countries to take part.

Just to make the whole thing an even bigger deal, it's the biggest sporting event to take place in LA since the 1984 Olympics.

The Special Olympics World Games take place every two years, and allow athletes with intellectual disabilities to represent their countries in sport.

It will features 26 Olympic-style events in venues throughout the Los Angeles region, and Michelle Obama will be attending the opening ceremony.

How to watch the game
ESPN announced that it will, for the first time, cover the games in its totality. "The story here is the transformative nature of what these people have overcome," ESPN president John Skipper told The Hollywood Reporter shortly after signing a deal with the Special Olympics last year. "It is about them becoming the best, most complete person that they can. That matters here more than with other competitions, so this [coverage] is a little different. It is not about strategy and analyzing and X's and O's or who won. It is about people's lives, so it will be more emotional. That's our mission here."


However, the coverage is sprinkled across many television channels, websites, and apps. Many events and stories will air on ESPN. Some will debut on its sister channel ABC. But others will not appear on TV at all. Figuring out what and where to watch turns out to be a complicated task. A spokesman for the Special Olympics wasn't aware of any full listing of how to catch each event, but here are some clues to help you track down the events you care about.
The Special Olympics website hosts a complete schedule of the events, but without any mention of how to tune into each sport. ESPN's master TV schedule lays out exactly when each channel will cover the Special Olympics, but without any mention of which events it will cover.

A better solution lies in smartphone apps and social media. The official Special Olympics app for iPhone and Android helps you keep a personalized schedule. The app is a little buggy, but its bookmark feature saves you from spelunking through menus again and again.

The 2015 games also hosts a bustling YouTube channel and Facebook page with highlights, scores, and profiles of the athletes.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' earns big at Pakistani box office

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Eid gift to his fans, is not only breaking records in India, but has also garnered appreciation at the Pakistan box office - earning nearly Rs.6 million (INR3million/ $47,000) in its first week in Karachi and Islamabad alone.

The Kabir Khan directorial, which released in India and Pakistan on July 17, has left behind the collection of Pakistani films "Bin Roye" and "Wrong Number".

According to Nadeem Mandviwalla, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which focusses on the bond shared by a Pakistani mute girl and an Indian man, minted Rs.3.2 million in its first week, while Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed-starrer "Bin Roye" raked in about Rs.2.8 million and "Wrong Number" managed to collect Rs.2.7 million in Mandviwalla-owned cinemas in Karachi and Islamabad, Dawn online reported on Friday.

Where Hollywood films like "Minions", "Terminator: Genysis" and "Ant-Man" were unable make their presence felt, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" also left behind Pakistan's regional cinema.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, collected Rs.2.5 million in Karachi's Capri Cinema.

The exact figures for the entire country will be known only after the film ends its run in Pakistan.

Although "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" faced a lot of obstacles before its release in Pakistan, the film is drawing large audiences who are coming to see Salman in a role of a brotherly figure.

Meanwhile, the film is receiving enormous response at the box office in India. It collected Rs.184.62 crore in its opening week leaving behind Aamir Khan's "PK" (Rs.183.09 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year (Rs.157.57 crore), according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Kepler 452b - Earth2.0 the 'Earth's bigger, older cousin'

NASA said Thursday that its Kepler spacecraft has spotted "Earth's bigger, older cousin": the first nearly Earth-size planet to be found in the habitable zone of a star similar to our own.

Though NASA can't say for sure whether the planet is rocky like ours or has water and air, it's the closest match yet found.
"Today, Earth is a little less lonely," Kepler researcher Jon Jenkins said.

The planet, Kepler-452b, is about 1,400 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It's about 60% bigger than Earth, NASA says, and is located in its star's habitable zone -- the region where life-sustaining liquid water is possible on the surface of a planet.

A visitor there would experience gravity about twice that of Earth's, and planetary scientists say the odds of it having a rocky surface are "better than even."

While it's a bit farther from its star than Earth is from the sun, its star is brighter, so the planet gets about the same amount of energy from its star as Earth does from the sun. And that sunlight would be very similar to Earth's, Jenkins said.

The planet "almost certainly has an atmosphere," Jenkins said, although scientists can't say what it's made of. But if the assumptions of planetary geologists are correct, he said, Kepler-452b's atmosphere would probably be thicker than Earth's, and it would have active volcanoes.

It takes 385 days for the planet to orbit its star, very similar to Earth's 365-day year, NASA said. And because it's spent so long orbiting in this zone -- 6 billion years -- it's had plenty of time to brew life, Jenkins said.

"That's substantial opportunity for life to arise, should all the necessary ingredients and conditions for life exist on this planet," he said in a statement.

Before the discovery of this planet, one called Kepler-186f was considered the most Earthlike, according to NASA. That planet, no more than a 10th bigger than Earth, is about 500 light-years away from us. But it gets only about a third of the energy from its star as Earth does from the sun, and noon there would look similar to the evening sky here, NASA says.
The $600 million Kepler mission launched in 2009 with a goal to survey a portion of the Milky Way for habitable planets.

From a vantage point 64 million miles from Earth, it scans the light from distant stars, looking for almost imperceptible drops in a star's brightness, suggesting a planet has passed in front of it.

It has discovered more than 1,000 planets. Twelve of those, including Kepler-425b, have been less than twice the size of Earth and in the habitable zones of the stars they orbit.

Missions are being readied to move scientists closer to the goal of finding yet more planets and cataloging their atmospheres and other characteristics.

In 2017, NASA plans to launch a planet-hunting satellite called TESS that will be able to provide scientists with more detail on the size, mass and atmospheres of planets circling distant stars.

The next year, the James Webb Space Telescope will go up. That platform, NASA says, will provide astonishing insights into other worlds, including their color, seasonal differences, weather and even the potential presence of vegetation.

Google does it again! After listing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the ‘Top 10 criminals of the world’ list, Google now lists him in yet another embarrassing list. A quick Google search for the most stupid prime ministers in the world!

The list also includes Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Thailand’s Former Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, and British Prime Minister David Cameron among others. It is not exactly Google’s fault as the search algorithm is based entirely on SEO related to the search query, however, last time Google had issued an apology and fixed the situation.

Google Glass Enterprise Edition

Google, the search Engine giant is making the next version of its Glass wearable waterproof and foldable, a Google-oriented site said this week.

Recently published a report on google websites said the Google Glass Enterprise Edition (EE) has been tweaked to be more practical for the workplace.

"It folds like a regular pair of glasses, and because it’s first and foremost being built for the workplace, it has a more rugged build and appearance," it said.

One major change is a robust hinge mechanism that lets the computer and battery modules fold down like a regular pair of glasses, it said.

Also, the overall design of the computer side is built to withstand normal drops and bumps in "less-than-ideal workplace environments."

Citing its sources, googlesite said the device is more water-resistant, and is "built with fewer buttons and ports as to have fewer places for water and other material to seep in."

"And, as to be expected from a device built for the workplace, Google has tweaked its visual aesthetic to better fit in a factory or a hospital than on a runway. It’s practical and industrial, with a focus on function over fashion," it said.

But other than these, the EE does not look radically different from earlier iterations of Google Glass.

On the other hand, the EE is rumored to have a larger prism display, an Intel Atom processor, improved battery life, and better heat management.

Google is planning to distribute the device exclusively through its certified set of Glass for Work partners.
The report further adds that the Enterprise Edition will come with a large prism display, an Intel Atom processor, better heat management and improved battery life and many more.

Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran lead MTV Video Music Award nominations

Pop singer Taylor Swift, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, R&B singer Beyonce, and DJ-producer Mark Ronson lead the nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards, the cable network said on Tuesday.

Swift, whose "1989" was the best-selling album of 2014, earned nine nominations for the awards to be handed out on Aug. 30. Sheeran garnered six nominations, while Beyonce and Ronson each scored five nods.

Swift's superhero-themed video for "Bad Blood," a collaboration with hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar, which also features cameos by more than a dozen other celebrities, will compete for the coveted Video of the Year award against Beyonce's "7/11," Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," Ronson's "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars, and Lamar's "Alright."

Swift also earned nominations for her music video "Blank Space" in the Best Female Video and Best Pop Video categories.

The awards show, which MTV bills as "music’s most unexpected night," hands out "Moonman" statuettes for achievements in music videos. The event has made headlines in recent years for singer Miley Cyrus' provocative "twerk" performance with a foam finger in 2013, and hip-hop artist Kanye West's interruption of Swift’s 2009 acceptance speech.

Cyrus tweeted on Monday that she will host this year's awards, showing pictures of her with placards saying: "MTV won't let me perform" and "So I'm hosting this year's VMAs."

The show, which attracts a young audience prized by advertisers, will air live from the Microsoft Theater, formerly the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Milind Soman completes 'toughest' triathlon in Zurich

Model and actor Milind Soman completed what is dubbed as the toughest triathlon in the world, at Zurich in Switzerland on July 19.

If you needed more reasons to be head over heels in lust love with Milind Soman, look no further. The Bollywood actor and model just made the country proud by successfully completing the Ironman Triathlon held in Zurich, Switzerland on 19 July, reported Times of India.

The triathlon is considered one of the world's toughest races and had 2,000 participants which included seven Indians.

The triathlon includes a 3.8-km swim, a 180.2-km cycle ride and 42.2-km run raced in that order without a break which the participants are required to complete within 16 hours to win the title of 'Ironman'.

50-year old Milind Soman completed the triathlon in 15 hours and 19 minutes.

“If you are sufficiently aware and monitor your body’s response at every stage in terms of nutrition and pace, it will all come together. I wanted to gift myself something special in my 50th year and I am glad I could do this,” Soman told The Indian Express on phone from Zurich.

He has been practicing for the race for the last few months and had been updating his social media with pictures of his preparations.

"Over You," and out. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert both finalized their divorce just hours after the country couple announced their split today.

The Time Magazine eported on Monday that Shelton filed his divorce documents nearly two weeks ago, and that a judge signed off on the papers on Monday afternoon. A source confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday that the judge did indeed sign off on the divorce in Oklahoma.

The USA superstars, a staple in the music awards show circuit and beloved by countless fans, confirmed their split with a joint statement released by their reps. "This is not the future we envisioned," the stars reflected. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends, and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."


The couple first met during an onstage duet at CMT's 100 Greatest Duets Concert back in 2005, when Shelton was still married to his first wife, Kaynette Gern. "I didn't know if it was just initial butterflies… I don't know what it was," Lambert later told Hoda Kotb in 2011 of the initial encounter. "It was just this draw to each other."

Shelton divorced Gern in 2006, and later recalled his first meeting with his future wife in an interview with VH1's Behind the Music in 2011. "I’ve never had that kind of experience with anybody," he said of the palpable chemistry exhibited during that performance. "I was a married guy, you know? Standing up there and singing with somebody and going, ‘Man, this shouldn’t be happening.’ Looking back on that, I was falling in love with her, right there on stage."

In her final magazine interview before the split announcement -- for Country Living's June 2015 cover story -- Lambert said she and Shelton were settling into a routine. "We're building a new house, and I've been saving inspiration on Pinterest," she explained of their day-to-day lives. "A friend of mine recently said, 'I can see your Pinterest boards, and all you have on there are dog rooms.' My husband and I have 15 rescue animals, and I spend way too much time planning our pets' spaces. I'm like, okay, I probably need to move on to the laundry room!"

Moto G (Gen 3) Price and Full Specifications Leaked by Retailer

Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility may launch the third generation of the Moto G smartphone on July 28. Even though there's no official confirmation from Motorola that it would launch the Moto G Gen 3 on the said date (all we know is that there's an event, and there may be a launch or two), the alleged Moto G (2015) has been leaked, this time in all its glory.

The leak comes via Spanish online retail website fnac.es (Spanish equivalent to India's Flipkart) that has listed the Motorola Moto G (Gen 3) giving on-lookers a complete spec list of the yet-to-be announced smartphone.

According to the website, the Moto G (2015) will have a 5-inch HD display with a 1280x720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (MSM8916) coupled with 1GB RAM.

The smartphone will come with 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The Moto G (2015) will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and will support 4G LTE.

The device will sport a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash along with a 5MP front-facing snapper. The phone will be backed by a 2,470 mAh battery.

Clearly, the new Moto G (as per the listing) appears to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor in terms of processor, cameras, battery and of course connectivity options. However, we suggest you take this information with a pinch of salt and remember that July 28 isn't far from us. Hopefully, we will see Motorola launching the phone on the said date.

The second generation of the Moto G was launched in September last year, and even though many good phones have launched since then (and the device has become kind of dated), it still holds special place among buyers looking for a decent mid-range handset. The Moto G (Gen 2) recently received a price cut in India and now retails at Rs.9,999 exclusively via Flipkart. 

Anita Hassanandani, Eijaz Khan to romance on screen?

If everything falls in place, actress Anita Hassanandani will romance her former boyfriend and actor Eijaz Khan in TV show “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.

Her character named Shagun is undergoing change of heart and turning into a positive person. The upcoming track in the show will focus on her love life.

“Eijaz is being approached for the doctor's role and both will be paired together, and help Raman Bhalla (portrayed by Karan Patel) and his wife Ishita (played by Divyanka Tripathi) to overcome the complications with their baby,” the source said.

In the past, Anita and Eijaz have worked together in serial “Kkavyanjali”.

Actor Manoj Chandila has also been approached for the role, but nothing is locked as yet.

“Their contracts are not yet signed. The channel is more keen on Eijaz given his past chemistry with Anita on screen,” added the source.
