Moto G (Gen 3) Price and Full Specifications Leaked by Retailer

Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility may launch the third generation of the Moto G smartphone on July 28. Even though there's no official confirmation from Motorola that it would launch the Moto G Gen 3 on the said date (all we know is that there's an event, and there may be a launch or two), the alleged Moto G (2015) has been leaked, this time in all its glory.

The leak comes via Spanish online retail website fnac.es (Spanish equivalent to India's Flipkart) that has listed the Motorola Moto G (Gen 3) giving on-lookers a complete spec list of the yet-to-be announced smartphone.

According to the website, the Moto G (2015) will have a 5-inch HD display with a 1280x720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (MSM8916) coupled with 1GB RAM.

The smartphone will come with 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The Moto G (2015) will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and will support 4G LTE.

The device will sport a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash along with a 5MP front-facing snapper. The phone will be backed by a 2,470 mAh battery.

Clearly, the new Moto G (as per the listing) appears to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor in terms of processor, cameras, battery and of course connectivity options. However, we suggest you take this information with a pinch of salt and remember that July 28 isn't far from us. Hopefully, we will see Motorola launching the phone on the said date.

The second generation of the Moto G was launched in September last year, and even though many good phones have launched since then (and the device has become kind of dated), it still holds special place among buyers looking for a decent mid-range handset. The Moto G (Gen 2) recently received a price cut in India and now retails at Rs.9,999 exclusively via Flipkart.
